Endemic to Taiwan, this tiny mountain-forest butterfly glows emerald-green when its wings open. When closed, its wings turn warm brown with white lines and orange-black eyespots. Its caterpillars feed on Taiwan alder.
台灣特有山林小蝶，翅開如綠寶石，翅合有褐色白紋與橙黑眼斑；幼蟲仰賴台灣赤楊嫩葉成長。
